Dallas Police are investigating a deadly hit and run accident involving a motorcycle.
It happened Saturday night around 11:41pm in the 9300 block of Julius Scheppes Frwy.
According to reports, 36-year-old William Stridger and a female passenger were on a Harley, traveleing southbound when the Harley hit the rear of another vehicle also going southbound on Julius Scheppes.
The contact caused the motorcycle to tumble down an embankment while the unknown vehicle fled the scene.
Both Stridger and his female passenger, who is related to him, were taken to an area hospital, where he died from his injuries and she is listed in critical condition.
The Vehicle Crimes Unit is filing a Failure to Stop and Render Aid offense.
