A man has died from a shooting in Dallas Sunday so now the case is a homicide.
Sunday morning just before 9 a.m. a man was found wounded Holmes Street near I-45 and Cedar Crest.
He was taken to the hospital where he died.
At first, a Dallas Non-Fatal Shoot Teams detective was called out and began the investigation as an aggravated assault case. But when the victim died, the case was re-assigned to the Homicide Unit.
Witnesses tell police the killer was driving a dark SUV but nothing more specific has been released.
The Homicide Unit has not said why the man was shot or who did it.
