The Dallas Stars take the ice tonight, hosting the Kraken in Game 5 of their 2nd round Stanley Cup Playoff series at the American Airlines Center.
The teams are knotted at two games apiece. Dallas will have home ice advantage in two ot the three remaining games.
So far, the series is following the same pattern as the 1st round series against the Minnesota Wild. In both cases, the Stars and the visiting team split the first two games and then split the next two in the other team's arena.
In the series against the Wild, Dallas won game 5 at home and clinched the series with a game 6 win on the road.
