The Rashee Rice racing incident on Central Expressway in the spring caused a million-dollar civil suit. Now, one of the defendants in the suit says he wants to be dismissed from that suit.

Charles Bush leased one of the cars to Rice in that crash. He says he had nothing to do with what happened that day. He is referring to the chain reaction crash on Central Expressway at the end of March.

Rice and Teddy Knox got into a wreck with four other cars while they raced on 75. The cops say Rice drove that rented Lamborghini SUV at 119 mph, and Teddy Knox drove a Corvette at 90 miles per hour when they collided with other cars on the freeway.

Rice, who turned 24 last month, and Knox have been charged with one count of aggravated assault, one count of collision involving serious bodily injury and six counts of collision involving injury.

Four people were injured in the crash, and police said the occupants of the Lamborghini and Corvette left the scene without providing information or determining whether anyone needed medical attention.
