While demonstrations continue over a Minnesota man's death at the hands of Brooklyn Center police, supporters in Dallas also gathered last night.
Meeting outside Dallas Police headquarters, demonstrators heard from LaSandra Scott, the mother of a Black man who died in the Collin County jail last month.
Scott said "we have a lot of questions that are still unanswered and we will not consent, all of us, no matter what color you are, all of us, we cannot consent to this type of treatment."
Following the demonstration at Dallas police headquarters, the crowd marched slowly and peacefully through the streets downtown carrying signs reading "No Justice No Peace Abolish Police" and "Stop the War on Black America."
