NORTH RICHLAND HILLS (1080 KRLD)- A North Richland Hills dental practice is facing a lawsuit after two employees say they were not rehired after they voiced concerns about what coronavirus safety measures were in place.
An OSHA investigation found that in March 2020, Bohannan Dentistry owners furloughed their employees.
A while later, they asked them to come back. But according to the Labor Department complaint, when the a hygienist and an assistant emailed the owners asking what safety precautions were being taken at the facility. They were not rehired, but everyone else in the office was.
The attorney for the dental practice tells KRLD they did not retaliate against any employee and went out of their way to provide a safe working environment.
