An Argyle home is heavily damaged from the fire that erupted Monday afternoon.
It was just before 4 p.m. when Denton County Emergency Services and Double Oak fire crews arrived in front of the house on Whispering Trails about half-way between Argyle and Copper Canyon.
Officials say one wing of the home, where the garage was located, was burned pretty much to the foundation but there was also flame, smoke and water damage to the rest of the house.
Two people and their two pets were safely evacuated and no injuries were reported to any firefighters, either. Investigators don't yet know the cause.
