A line of strong storms will arrive in North Texas on Wednesday, bringing the threat of hail, damaging winds, and the possibility of isolated tornadoes.

Denton County authorities are warning residents to prepare for potential flooding as heavy rainfall is expected to impact areas prone to high water.

Officials said emergency crews will be on standby throughout the day to respond quickly if conditions become dangerous.

Meteorologists say hail and wind will be the primary threats with these storms, though a tornado or two cannot be ruled out.
