It was a family fight that ended with a shooting and now a North Texas man has been indicted for the murder of his sister.
24-year-old Joseph Davis of Denton stands accused in the May 10th shooting death of his 26-year-old sister, Emily Davis.
According to police, the two had been fighting at the family home on Boliver street in Denton when Joseph Davis got a gun. They say he shot his sister once in the head. She died a short while later at a hospital.
Davis was arrested at the scene. He remains locked on up a half-million dollars bond.
