A Denton woman has died from Monday night's shooting and police have arrested a male suspect named Joseph Davis.
Investigators are confirming the victim is a relative of Davis, and that they live in the same home, but they're not saying what the relationship is.
Police reports say the woman was found shot Monday night at their home on Bolivar Street a few blocks from the Texas Woman's University campus. She was taken to the hospital in critical condition and died Tuesday night.
Detectives learned the two had been in an argument just before the shooting. With her death last night, police got a murder warrant in Davis's name. He remains locked up in the Denton city jail.
