A Denton murder suspect has been captured in Oklahoma where he is jailed awaiting extradition back to Texas.
On Friday night, a man was fatally stabbed at a home on the north side of Denton. Based on information from witnesses, police began looking for a man named Bryan Avila.
With help from the US Marshals Service, investigators tracked Avila down at a home in Oklahoma City, about 165 miles straight north on I-35.
Avila was captured without further incident. Detectives have not said anything about what led up to the stabbing.
