DFW Airport CEO Sean Donohue says more than 72 million people flew through DFW Airport last year, making it the second busiest in the world. But he's expecting more than 100 million a year by 2030.

On Monday, Donahue gave his 2023 State of the Airport and provided the status of the airport's future outlook.

In the airport's 50-year history, this past summer had the ten busiest travel days ever and served an estimated 22.5 million customers, and Donahue says the airport is meeting demand by continuing to grow as the second busiest airport by passengers in the world.

Airlines at DFW flew to just 204 destinations 10 years ago. They now fly to 256 cities, including 63 international destinations.

To that end, construction on the new Terminal F and expansions at Terminals A and C will commence in 2024.
