About a dozen teens have been accused of making terroristic threats on social media, specifically on the app TikTok and claiming there could be violence at their schools.

Rumors of those threats circulated online last week causing several schools across North Texas and the US to close or bring in extra security.

One of the teens was in Rockwall, where DA Kenda Culpepper says prosecutors are still weighing their options.

In Denton County there were at least three arrests in the Lewisville area. And in Collin County, Frisco police say they have arrested 7 people so far for those threats.
