A driver has been killed in a crash with a Fort Worth police SUV, they were apparently just in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Thursday evening a Fort Worth Police Tahoe was chasing a stolen car, but the driver continued to evade arrest even after a tire was flattened by stop sticks.
Police say the chase continued through the intersection of Rosedale and Evans south of downtown Fort Worth.
A car that was not involved in the pursuit collided with the police Tahoe. The civilian driver was ejected from the wreckage and died at the scene. They have not yet been identified, pending family notification.
The driver of the stolen car and a passenger were captured.
