Early voting for the May 3 election begins Tuesday across North Texas.. Residents in Dallas, Tarrant, Collin, Denton, and surrounding counties have the opportunity to cast their ballots ahead of Election Day.
What Voters Need to Know
Early voting runs through Tuesday, April 29. Polling locations are open weekdays from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., with extended hours in some areas. Voters can cast their ballots at any early voting location within their county, regardless of their precinct.
What's on the Ballot
The May 3 election includes municipal elections, school board races, and local bond measures. Voters in most jurisdictions will decide on mayoral, city council, and school board races.
How to Vote Early
To vote early, eligible voters must:
Be registered to vote in the county where they plan to vote.
Present an acceptable form of photo ID, such as a Texas driver's license or passport.
Visit any early voting location within their county during the designated hours.
