CROWLEY (1080 KRLD)- Eight puppies left for dead in triple-digit heat have now been adopted out, putting a happy ending to what could have been a very sad story.

Ten days ago, the pups were found abandoned in Crowley. The Good Samaritan who found them said they were barely alive in the heat. The area where the puppies were found has no security cameras so investigators say there's little chance of finding whoever did it.

Two Tarrant County deputies were called out and immediately put the little dogs in the air conditioning and gave them water. One of the deputies quickly offered to adopt one of the pups and Fort Worth Animal Care and Control set out to find other families to either foster or adopt the rest.

Now, the Tarrant County Sheriff's Office confirms that all the dogs have found placements.
