Several law enforcement agencies in North Texas were part of a chase Tuesday morning. The Ellis County sheriff says deputies were called to a burglary at a house in Italy.

When deputies arrived, the sheriff says the suspect got into a pink Ford Bronco and drove off.

The Ellis County Sheriff's Office started a chase, joined by police from Italy, DeSoto, Lancaster, Red Oak and Waxahachie along with the Texas Deparmtent of Public Safety. Ellis County Sheriff Brad Norman says the suspect crossed into Dallas County, stopped and ran off.

Several departments provided K9 units, and Dallas Police provided a helicopter to search the person.

Ultimately, Anthony Lee Turner was found and arrested on charges of burglary, tampering with evidence, evading arrest, unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon and drug charges. During the chase, the sheriff says deputies saw Turner throw stolen property out the window of the Bronco.

Sheriff Brad Norman posted a message on Facebook thanking the other departments who helped in the chase.

"Their coordination, resources, and professionalism were crucial in ensuring the safe and successful apprehension of the suspect," he wrote.
