Elon Musk is going after four unnamed companies in Texas for what he calls 'data scraping against Twitter'.
Musk filed lawsuits against all four in Dallas County District Court.
Musk and his company X Corp, which owns Twitter, claims that those Texas firms are the reason why he made the drastic changes to Twitter recently. Those changes included limits on how many tweets users would be able to see. And, non-Twitter users couldn't read tweets, unless they started a Twitter account.
"Several entities tried to scrape every tweet ever made in a short period of time. That is why we had to put rate limits in place," Musk tweeted.
Musk is suing those companies for a million dollars. The case is X Corp Vs John Does 1-4, in the district court of Dallas County, Texas, no. DC-23-09157.
