It's been more than 20 year since Dickerson was welcomed into the Pro Football Hall of Fame and many of his fans felt it was a great injustice that the College hall had ignored him for so long.

In his SMU career, Dickerson ran for 4,450 yards and 47 touchdowns.

He was actually voted into the College hall last year but the induction ceremony was canceled because of the Coronavirus.

Yesterday, Dickerson was one of 27 players invited to the 2021 induction ceremony in Las Vegas.
