The Dallas Fire Rescue Chief says everyone associated with the Oak Cliff apartment explosion has been accounted for.
It remains too early to determine who or what is at fault.
An attorney for the Clyde Apartments said Engineering Consultant Services was doing soil testing when the gas line ruptured.
Dallas Fire Rescue Chief Justin Ball says there is a process that people doing that kind of work go through.
"The main focus so far has been on rescuing the victims and finding the victims," Chief Ball said. "Now that the scene has slowed down, it's time to find out why."
Three people were found dead inside the rubble including a child. Several others were injured.
Firefighters are also having to deal with the effects of going through the rubble to find victims.
"You got to be tough," said Chief Ball. "They performed a lot of heroics yesterday, and that's the stuff they need to hear."
There is a candlelight vigil planned for Friday night at nearby Adamson High School.
