The family of a long-missing Fort Worth woman whose remains were identified late last month is raising money for a funeral.
Taalibah Islam disappeared in January of 2006 when she was 20 years old, and her body was recovered in March.
Islam's family says money raised will go towards cremation, since not many funeral homes will take her given how old her case is, and the ones which will are expensive.
The goal is $6,000; and so far, it has raised almost $5,000. The GoFundMe page can be found HERE.
At the time of Islam's disappearance, she was dating Christopher Revill.
Ten years later, Revill was charged in the disappearance of Typhenie Johnson, who remains missing today.
Revill was convicted and is serving a life prison term.
