A Dallas hit-and-run case has now become a murder investigation.
Early Tuesday, a man was run down in northeast Dallas near the intersection of Northwest Highway and Plano Road. The victim was pronounced dead a the scene and the car that struck him was long gone.
As Dallas police investigated it was determined this was no accident, it looked like the driver intentionally hit the victim.
Right now, detectives can't say why the man was run over or who the driver was.
