
A federal judge in Plano is declining a request to force the Allen school district to adopt coronavirus protocols.
Federal Judge Sean Jordan did not issue a written opinion, but in a docket entry the judge has declined to issue either the restraining order or the preliminary injunction that would have forced the Allen school district to adopt protocols.

An attorney for the parents says they will likely file a motion to ask the judge to reconsider.
The parents and children say they are flabbergasted that the school district has no policy to protect children from coronavirus, even for those too young to get a shot. They included declarations from parents who said their children are in danger.
A school nurse gave a declaration saying she has more authority over the flu than COVID-19. This comes at the same time as an Allen board member died over the weekend. David Noll died of an undisclosed cause. He was 49.
