The FEMA vaccination site in Arlington officially opens today at Globe Life Field.
The federal government run site opened for a couple of practice runs earlier this week and people who got vaccines there said it ran smoothly with no real delays.
The site will operate 7 days a week for people with appointments only that must be made through the Tarrant County Public Health website and is expected to provide 21,000 vaccines every week.
Officials say the site will operate at Globe Life Field for 4 weeks then transition to AT&T Stadium.
This effort is a partnership between the federal government, the City of Arlington, Tarrant County Public Health, the Arlington Fire Department, American Medical Response, the Texas Rangers and the Dallas Cowboys.
