At least six commercial buildings were damaged in a large fire in Northwest Dallas late Monday night, officials say.
The incident began at about 10:30 p.m. Monday in the 1700 block of Empire Central, which is just south of Love Field, according to Dallas-Fire Rescue.
Officials said firefighters arrived to find pallets ablaze, and due to high winds, the fire quickly spread to nearby buildings.
More than five dozen firefighters responded to fight the flames, Dallas-Fire Rescue said.
The fire was contained early Tuesday morning and no injuries were immediately reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
