The investigation is underway in McKinney where a large swath of the newly-reopened Third Monday McKinney Trade Days was destroyed by fire Tuesday.
Crews found a fast-moving fire at the site on University near Lake Forest Drive.
Officials believe the fire apparently broke out in a vendor area on the north side of the grounds. The building that was burned is a total loss.
The Trade Days just reopened under new management over the weekend after being closed by the previous owners about a month ago. The market's roots date back to the 19th century.
