A Tarrant County home is a total loss from Tuesday's fire that brought in fire crews from Fort Worth, White Settlement, Aledo, Benbrook, Parker County Emergency Services and the Lockheed Fire Department.
The raging fire destroyed a home on Yarmouth Lane, west of White Settlement. The fire was up in the attic when fire crews arrived and the flames were very stubborn.
Firefighters quickly searched the home to make sure everyone was out and tried to fight the fire from inside. But commanders determined it was too dangerous and ordered everyone out.
Once the fire was out, firefighters went through the rubble to help the family recover whatever belongings they could salvage.
The Tarrant County Fire Marshal's Office is working to learn the source of the fire.
