A Dallas firefighter is in the hospital with burns from an overnight fire that looks suspicious to investigators.
Officials say the firefighter was hurt while helping douse a fire at a one-story duplex on Elsie Fay Heggins between Highway 310 and Malcom X Blvd.
The fire had quite a head start when fire crews arrived just before midnight and the duplex is heavily damaged.
There is some suspicion about how the fire got started and one man was detained for questioning. But investigator have not said for sure if the fire at the building was intentionally set.
The condition of the firefighter is not thought to be life-threatening.
