TARRANT COUNTY (1080 KRLD)- Firefighters across Tarrant County are in the 'mop phase' in battling a grass fire in Rendon that spread to at least eight to nine structures, Tuesday evening.
The fire burned in the area of Bennett Lawson Road and Jessica Lane - west of 287 - south of the Tierra Verde Golf Club.
The fire department reported live power lines are down, and propane tanks are on fire.
Fort Worth firefighters are on scene, as well crews from Everman, Forest Hill, Crowley, Edgecliff Village, Kennedale and Benbrook. The Rendon Fire Department says at least one home is on fire.
