The Kennedale ISD school board held an emergency meeting Monday night to make decisions about James Arthur Intermediate School, which teaches nearly 400 fifth and sixth graders.

Beginning Monday, those students will be divided up between two other campuses.

Over the weekend, the school was flooded with up to five inches of water from the broken line.

Superintendent Chad Gee said the school wasn't a complete loss because a manager of a restoration company told trustees 90 to 95 percent of the items in the school were not damaged.
