Kennedale ISD's only middle school was closed Monday because of flooding over the weekend. It will remain closed for the remainder of the week.
The district found a water line break at James Arthur Intermediate School and a video posted by Kennedale ISD trustee Debbie Villagomez showed a couple of inches of water flooding hallways, classrooms and other rooms.
The cause of the break is still not clear. The Fire Department came out to turn off the water, hoping to limit the damage as much as possible.
