A Collin County grand jury has indicted former Celina ISD middle school football coach Caleb Elliott on four felony charges tied to allegations involving students, including possession of child pornography, invasive visual recording and sexual performance of a child.

The indictment stems from a criminal case that began with Elliott’s arrest last fall after police said he secretly recorded boys in a school locker room at Moore Middle School in Celina.

Elliott, 26, was first taken into custody on Oct. 3, 2025, after officers charged him with invasive visual recording following reports of inappropriate behavior; he later faced additional counts of possession of child pornography and was indicted at the federal level on sexual exploitation charges.

Local lawsuits alleging misconduct and negligence by the school district have also been filed, and district leadership has faced scrutiny as a result of the high-profile case.
