A former Dallas Cowboy was arrested early Saturday morning after attending the fight between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul at AT&T Stadium. Arlington police say Adam "Pacman" Jones was arrested at Live! by Loews about 1 a.m. Saturday.
Police said an officer working off-duty security called them to report several people involved in a fight at the bar. They said everyone was separated by the time officers arrived, but Jones kept yelling, and another fight started.
Arlington police said officers and hotel security tried to intervene, and Jones hit an officer on the arm. Jones was arrested, and police said he would be charged with assault on a peace officer, public intoxication, and resisting arrest.
Jones played for the Dallas Cowboys in 2008 and last played in the NFL in 2018. While playing for the Cowboys, he was suspended four games for breaking the league's personal conduct policy after getting into a fight with his bodyguard at a hotel in Dallas.
Last year, Jones was arrested at the Cincinnati airport on misdemeanor charges of public drunkenness, disorderly conduct, and terroristic threats.
TMZ posted a video of Arlington police walking Jones out of Live! by Loews. A representative for Jones told the site he had flown in for the fight and was returning to the hotel to "wind down for the evening. He was not looking for trouble."
Jones "adamantly denies the allegations and looks forward to explaining the truth when the time comes," his staff told the site.
