Frisco police say they arrested a former Navy SEAL for public intoxication and assault causing bodily injury, both misdemeanors.

Police say 47-year-old Robert O’Neill was arrested last week and is now free after posting bond.

O'Neill is the former Nave SEAL who claimed he's the one who killed al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden. He made the claim back in 2014, but the military will not confirm nor deny the kill.

O'Neill has been hailed a hero for taking out bin Laden but military leaders have blasted him for talking about it publically.
