A man who taught at Great Lakes Academy in Plano is charged with grooming a child.
Plano police arrested 23-year-old Jacob Thomas Allred this week.
Investigators received information about three weeks ago that Allred had been sending inappropriate sexual messages to a student at the school. He was a teacher at the campus. Their investigation turned up information that supported the allegation, and police got a warrant for his arrest.
Plano Police are trying to determine if there are any more victims. They're asking anyone with information to call the Plano Police Special Victims Unit Tip Line at 972-941-2044.
