IRVING (1080 KRLD)- A former elementary school teacher who was arrested on child sex abuse charges earlier this summer is back behind bars. Police in Irving say 28-year-old Victor Hugo Moreno is accused of attacking a second victim.
Moreno had been a teacher at Townsell Elementary School in the Irving ISD before resigning in 2021. Police arrested him in July of this year on charges of continuous sex abuse of a young child and improper relationship between a student and educator. Investigators say the victim, in that case, was a 7-year-old girl who attended the school. The bond for Moreno was set at $10,000 on one charge and $5,000 for the other. Moreno was able to post bond and was released.
Irving Police say Moreno was arrested again on August 25th on a charge of indecency with a child. In that case, the victim is a girl between 13 and 14 years old. Bond for Moreno was set at $100,000.
