Despite the record this season, this has been a banner year for the Texas Rangers.
They got to put up the World Series banner at Globe Life Field, they got their World Series rings, and Adrian Beltre went into the Baseball Hall of Fame.
Now, his teammate and best friend has decided to retire as a Texas Ranger.
The Rangers announced that Elvis Andrus will call it a career on Friday before the game against the Angels. He'll also throw out the first pitch at the game.
Andrus spent most of his career with the Rangers. Then, he left in 2021 to go to Oakland and the Chicago White Sox until last season.
