A boy is in the hospital after being wounded in a Fort Worth drive-by shooting Monday night.

Officials say the first 9-1-1 call came in just before 8:30 p.m. saying the caller's son had just been shot.

Police say the boy was inside a home in the Fort Worth Poly neighborhood, a few blocks from Texas Wesleyan University. Police found the 10-year-old wounded in the leg. He was rushed to a local hospital. He was considered to be in good condition.

Back at the home, police determined that someone was driving past the home on Avenue "I" and opened fire on the family's home. But they don't know who it is or why he did it.
