(Fort Worth, TX) -- A northside Fort Worth church is a smoky mess Monday because of Sunday's fire.

The fire raced through the sanctuary of a Spanish-language Seventh Day Adventist Church on Northwest 30th Street near Long Avenue. The 911 calls came in Sunday morning and firefighters arrived to find heavy fire in the rear of the church including a storage area behind the altar.

The entire building has smoke damage and the sanctuary has major damage. No one was in the church at that point so no one was hurt.

Investigators are not confirming a cause but fire crews reported seeing arcing wires from a power pole.
