A victim killed by a car in Fort Worth over the weekend has now been identified as a Texas Wesleyan student named Charles Trammell.
The identification has been confirmed by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner which says he died from blunt force injuries.
Police report Trammell was helping other students with a flat tire on the Highway 287 ramp to I-30 near downtown Fort Worth when he was struck by a car. The impact knocked him over the side and he fell 60 feet to his death.
The driver who hit Trammell, a man named Miguel Lopez, was charged with intoxicated manslaughter with a vehicle.

Trammell played football at Texas Wesleyan where the football program has issued a statement saying "we are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Charles Trammell. Our hearts go out to his family, teammates, and friends at such a difficult time. We will miss Charles greatly."
Trammel's 21st birthday would have been today. Tonight, a service in his memory will be held on campus.
