A Fort Worth man is facing federal charges for allegedly manufacturing and selling machine gun conversion devices.

Federal prosecutors say the devices are small 3D-printed gadgets that convert ordinary firearms into fully automatic machine guns.

Agents from the bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) reportedly seized more than 650 of the items from Xavier Desean Watson. He was arrested without incident in the parking lot of his Fort Worth apartment complex Thursday night and made his initial appearance in federal court the following day.

Watson faces up to a decade in federal prison if convicted.
