The Fort Worth school district has ordered Eastern Hills High School to forfeit its next football game because of last Thursday's brawl that shortened its game against Dallas Roosevelt.
Reports say the on-field fight involved dozens of players from both teams and led to the ejection of every player.
Under UIL rules, the penalty for ejection is missing not only that game but the first half of the school's next game.
For Roosevelt players, Dallas district officials has said only Junior Varsity players will participate in Roosevelt's next game against Italy scheduled for Thursday night. The varsity players will be allowed to play in the second half.
But Fort Worth administrators say Eastern Hills' next game against Kennedale has been forfeited entirely.
