FORT WORTH (1080 KRLD)- Fort Worth ISD interim superintendent Karen Molinar is acting fast to improve classroom performance.

She unveiled a plan to address concerns with 3rd to 8th-grade students, where 42% aren’t reading at grade level and 48% are falling behind in math.

"So what is important to me is transparency because I believe we need to be transparent about our data and we have to address that data," said Molinar.

Molinar aims to close these gaps by giving teachers more support during class time.
