The man found dead from an apparent gunshot wound in Fort Worth this week has now been identified as a Fort Worth man named Jose Gavirio.
Police say his body was found along the bank of the Trinity River near the East 4th Street bridge east of downtown.
The Tarrant County Medical Examiner has not listed a cause of death but police say it looks like he was shot in the upper body.
For now, detectives can't say who shot Gavirio, or why.
