FORT WORTH (1080 KRLD) - Police in Fort Worth need your help in identifying four people who assaulted a tow truck driver last month.
It happened on March 15th in the parking lot at the Domino's Pizza on Main Street in the Stockyards as a group of YouTube pranksters were holding an event nearby.
"A tow truck driver was being assaulted by several individuals involved in a large crowd for attempting to legally tow a vehicle from the parking lot at that location," says Ofc. Jimmy Pollozani.

Video posted onto Fort Worth Police's Twitter feed showed that the car was secured onto the tow truck's platform.
"The driver of the vehicle that was being towed came up to the tow truck driver and demanded that the tow truck driver drop his vehicle," says Ofc. Pollozani.
The tow truck driver was soon surrounded and was assaulted.
"The tow truck driver received minor injuries," says Pollozani. "As of right now, we do not have anybody in custody."
Anyone who knows who those people are in the video are being asked to call Fort Worth Police at 817-392-4635.
According to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, which oversees the towing industry in Texas, if the owner of an illegally-parked vehicle shows up before the vehicle is secured onto the tow truck, the driver must release it to the driver without collecting a paymentr.
However, if it's secured onto the truck just as the tow truck driver is ready to leave -- as what appears to be the case in this instance given the video footage -- the driver must release the vehicle and charge a drop fee, and the driver must be able to accept credit cards on site.
If the tow truck driver has already taken off, the owner of the towed vehicle can only recover it from the tow company's yard.
