A Fort Worth police sergeant being investigated for destroying evidence has now been indicted.
Sgt. Rodsdricke Martin, 46, was being investigated on allegations of destroying evidence while in an off-duty capacity.
Last Friday, a grand jury indicted Martin on that charge; and on Tuesday, Martin was arrested.
According to the indictment, Martin deleted photos from a laptop computer back in January and reset it to factory settings in order to wipe the hard drive of its contents.
The Fort Worth Police Department began investigating Martin back in January, at which time it placed him on restricted duty and stripped him of all police powers.
Martin is now on unpaid suspension from the department and is jailed in the Lon Evans Corrections Center.
