Fort Worth police have a man in custody suspected of shooting his brother and taking off with his brother's kids.
Police say it all started Sunday morning with a shooting near the 400 block of Millbrook Lane. A man was shot in the lower torso and told police his brother did it and took off with his two small children.
Police later found the suspect in Burleson where he finally pulled over and was taken into custody. The suspect was armed.
Officials say the kids were not physically hurt and have been reunited with their family. The man who was shot is recovering.
Police say the Fort Worth PD gang unit is investigating.
