Fort Worth police have released body camera video of a shooting that happened at a Fourth of July block party last week.
The two officers had been paired to respond to reports of illegal fireworks, but Fort Worth police Chief Neil Noakes said they stopped when they saw people fighting near Northwest 32nd Street and Ross Avenue.
Two men were killed when the officers opened fire on two men who were arguing, the officers say both men were armed.
Fort Worth Police Chief Neil Noakes admitted officers shot first then announced themselves, he insists the investigation is far from over.
The shooting left four other people injured. Families of the victims are demanding justice.
The fight and shooting in North Fort Worth followed a mass shooting at the end of a neighborhood party in Como just the night before, where three people died and eight others were hurt.
