Fort Worth Police looking for serial robber

FORT WORTH (1080 KRLD) - Police in Fort Worth need your help in finding a serial robber.

Police are looking for Travon Tyrese Davis, 18, in connection with a series of robberies over the last two weeks.

“He has multiple attracted robbery warrants for his arrest currently,” says Det. Brian Raynsford, “and we’re hoping the public can help us locate Mr. Davis and bring him into custody safely.”

At least one person has been seriously injured in this robbery spree.

“We believe Mr. Davis is one of the suspects involved in the shooting which occurred at 2201 E. Berry St. (Primavera Apts.) this past weekend which left an individual seriously wounded,” says Det. Raynsford.

A second suspect is under arrest, and the vehicle they had allegedly been using is impounded.

Raynsford says Davis is armed and dangerous.

“Victims and witnesses have described seeing an AK-47-type rifle,” Raynsford says.

Davis is black and is distinctive in his appearance.

“He’s 6’6” tall and weighs probably 200-220 lbs.,” says Raynsford. “He’s not exceedingly large. He is a little bit slender, but he is a very tall individual.”
