A Fort Worth police officer who was arrested this summer has now been fired.
Fort Worth Police officials say Tarrant County Sheriff Deputies arrested Officer Victor Rucker in June for a domestic violence incident while he was off-duty.
Police started an administrative investigation, and determined the officer violated several policies.
Fort Worth Police Chief Noakes agreed with the chain of command's determination and terminated officer Rucker's employment with the department on Thursday.
